Our School
The Entry Process
Application forms may be obtained at the school office any time during regular office hours. An assessment test is required to ascertain the child’s abilities and level of entry. Previous Montessori experience is not required. Parents are encouraged to call the school and schedule a tour.
The Learning Environment
Our Montessori method is a personalised approach to learning which recognises that each child learns with a unique style and pace, and that children learn best in a prepared environment which supports and respects their individual development. It is also based on the premise that the intellectual, physical and social needs of children are inseparable and equally important. Our method is based on how children learn naturally, and many believe it is the way every child should have the opportunity to learn.
Our classrooms are filled with extraordinarily well- organized materials. Much of the work of a Montessori teacher occurs in the preparation and organization of materials and the careful follow-through of a lesson or concept. This allows the student to unlock the door to learning through his or her own exploration of the supporting materials. Classroom shelves contain objects from nature, follow-up exercises, Montessori materials and original source materials which all complement the themes being studied.
Our students develop positive attitudes about learning, a positive image of themselves as learners and a strong sense of independence and responsibility. The experience produces self-motivated, self-disciplined, independent learners with characteristics that benefit them throughout their school years and into adulthood.

Field Trips
Once a month, our students will go for a field trip. Field trips enable teachers to expand students' learning beyond the walls of the classroom into the vast community outside. They provide students with experiences that cannot be duplicated in the school but are nonetheless an integral part of school learning. Perhaps a field trip can best be described as a living laboratory in which learning is acquired through active hands-on experience with the rich resources of the local community.
Among the field trips we have made:
- Beryl's chocolate factory, Kuala Lumpur
- Ostrich Farm in Padang Jawa, Selangor
- Royal Mint, Shah Alam
- Islamic Arts Museum, Shah Alam
- Wetlands, Putrajaya
- High-5 bread factory
- Nursery in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam
- Fire Station, Shah Alam
